What exactly do I save by paying annually?
Two months. You pay for ten and you get twelve. It is not a percentage discount, it is two months of the same service at no charge.
Can I try the app before deciding?
Yes, for 14 days, on your own school. The 45-minute demo shows the system on sample data; the trial is the real thing — your classes, your teachers, your parents.
To run it we set your school up first — records imported, classes and fees configured, staff trained. That work is covered by the setup fee, but we charge it only if you decide to stay. If you do not continue, you pay nothing: not the setup, not the 14 days.
Near the end we remind you. Carry on and you pick a package; the setup fee goes on your first invoice and everything is kept as it is. If you do not, the workspace goes into maintenance mode for a week and is then permanently deleted. Nobody can sign in during that week, but if you want your records, ask and we will send them to you before they are deleted. The last backup copies are gone within 7 days after that.
That is not a penalty, it is protection. The records are about children, and under data protection law (GDPR) we may keep personal data only for as long as there is a reason to. Once you decide not to continue, all data relating to you must be deleted.
Do I pay for July and August, when the school is closed?
Yes. Tetradio runs twelve months a year so that you and your students' parents can use it at any time. Technical support is available year-round too.
It works like your rent and your utilities: you pay for electricity, internet and telephone even in the months you are not open.
Schools work the same way. Annual tuition is not reduced if a child spends June with their grandparents, and you do not charge half tuition at Easter or Christmas, because the costs the tuition was calculated from carry on regardless.
Can I cancel a monthly subscription at any time?
Yes. Monthly carries no commitment beyond the current month. You stop at the end of any month with no penalty and no notice period.
What happens if I stop and want to come back?
Your data is kept for 30 days after you cancel. Come back within that window and there is a reactivation fee of two months’ subscription, or €150 if that is higher, and you pick up exactly where you left off.
After 30 days the workspace and everything in it is deleted, and the last backup copies within 7 days after that. That is a data protection obligation, not a policy we can waive on request — we hold personal data about children only for as long as there is a reason to, and once the subscription is over there is none. Returning after that is a new subscription, with setup, and the records have to be imported again.
Can I switch from monthly to annual mid-year?
Whenever you like. We move you onto the annual term from the date you switch, and the two free months apply to that term.
Do the two plans have different features?
No. Same system, same support, same storage. Billing frequency is the only difference between them.
What if my student number crosses a band mid-year?
You have 10% of headroom above your band before anything changes. Past that you move up and pay the difference for the months remaining on your term, never a full second year. On monthly, your next invoice reflects the new band.
If my numbers fall, does my price fall?
At renewal, yes. Nothing changes mid-term in either direction — your package follows your student number at each renewal, with no penalty and no negotiation.
Is my annual price locked?
An annual subscription keeps its price for the year, a monthly one for the month. Prices may be revised once a year, and we tell you at least 60 days before a new price applies to you. Feature releases never change it.
How is VAT handled?
Every price on this page excludes VAT. It is added on the invoice, on both annual and monthly.
How much photo and video storage do we get?
3 GB per school, on every package. Enough for about 3,000 photos. Photos are resized to 2000 px when uploaded, so a phone photo takes well under 1 MB; the original file is not kept.
Video: MP4 files up to 100 MB each, roughly one minute of 1080p footage. 3 GB holds about 30 minutes of video in total, so short clips go a long way; keep them at 1080p rather than 4K.
The gallery is for sharing moments between school and families during the year, not for long-term archiving. The school collects the guardians’ consent before sharing photos and videos. At the start of each school year, the school decides what happens to the albums of previous years.
